I think, actually I am sure that their stuff is made in China. Hence I refuse to use it. Try Ohio cranks or Lunati or Crower. The first and the last two seem good value.
Their raw forgings are import; all machining and heat treating are done at Eagle's facility in Mississippi if I'm not mistaken. As for import raw forgings, they're metallurgical composition is as good as US; it's the final machining and the heat treating (particularly the heat treating) where the imports fall way short.

PS- Though I prefer Callies, Cola, and Lunati if your budget doesn't allow it there's nothing wrong with an Eagle crank. I would wager that the vast majority of strokers built for both street and competition use are built with Eagle cranks and rods.
4340 Eagle crank and H beam rod here. Have never heard of any failures on these items. They are plentiful people that made 1000hp with eagle H beam rod and no problem what so ever. I am also trying to make 1000hp with mine as well.
I'd definately cross Eagle off my list if the forging comes in from China, Are Scat cranks in the same boat, parding my pun?
Main reason I'm considering a stroker is the idle quality with a 224/230/113 cam when used on a 350. Heads will be LT4 equivalents. I already have the cam.
Again, only the RAW forgings come from China, not the machined, heat treated, and finished surfaces... Scat, Eagle, CAT, and a few others ALL use imported raw forgings.

Boy, what's this country coming too. Send everything to China and eliminate the American Middle Class. The rich gets richer, the poorer get stuck working at Walmart selling Chinese goods. Won't be much longer when a foreign country owns the Rights to the Corvette name. Scary, eh!

I had a 383 stroker in my fbody with a d1sc procharger.I used an Eagle crank and Eagle rods and made over 700 rwhp with them with no concern. Not everyone has the budget to use Crowler,Oliver and so on.mypoint beign don't knock the China stuff it's not as bad as you all think
