Motor Problem...Oiling Question
Anybody have or know the oil return path from the heads? I would actually like to see the complete pathway the oil travels in a small block. Where can I find this information? I found a problem with pushrods on cylinders #5 and #6 in my motor today, the place that put my motor in did not check the clearance of the intake manifold bolts. One pushrod is eaten throught to the oiling core and the other is close. So I need some info to fight this with next week as I have to wait for the service manager to be in. Hopefully they are going to stand behind their work, new motor has less than 5K miles. Noticed it when went to put some cheapo valve covers back on while I painted and cleaned the others.
Any advice or pointers are welcome as this will most likely end up being a battle royale!
