So ever since I slapped on my my ported SRI and got those Bosch 24# injectors and also got a custom mail order tune from Alvin @ PCMforless.com, I definately have noticed a huge difference in the powerband, from mid-range to top end. There is much more pull, especially from the mid range. Now I am curious to see what a stock 350 cubic inch L98 + SRI + 24# injectors, stock cam + custom/optimal performance tuning would look like on a dynosheet. There is definately a difference like I said before and yes I feel like my shift points should be changed from 4800 rpms to about 5800 rpms, because I have LT4 dual valve springs/retainers on my 4000 mile new 113 D-port aluminum heads according to the GM website. That is GM part no. 12556463.
Back on topic, would someone be able to post a pic of an L98 dynosheet with my exact mods? I'd prefer not to go to this local dyno shop in town and be charged $90 for single dyno run, no A/F reading and $100 for a dyno run /w A/F readings. That is a rip off and I'm not gonna go for that. Thanks to those who help me guestimate/predict my dyno results. I will keep you all posted
I don't know exactly what your dyno curves would look like but go to my site and click on the title under the pic of my '88 to get to the mods page. From there you will find links to the before & after mods pulls.
After doing the siamese base mod, though I had fuel delivery problems at the time, the top end really flattened out a lot. I expect you would see something similar for your L98.
ack, I am close but no cigar as I had a
355 with superram, D113's, slightly bigger cam, 26lb. injectors...
plus my sheet is not plotted on a curve.
470 something ft. lbs.
