I'm looking to make the rear suspension with rod ends. I've seen this already manufactured but it is really expensive. I would like to machine these myself if possible. My only question is what kind of material should I use and what kind of rod ends should I get. It looks like they usually are made of DOM tubing (I don't know what size). I was wondering if solid round bar aluminum stock would be adequate. It looks like the stock dog bones and camber links are cast Al. Wouldn't billet 6061T6 be stronger or 7075?
Thanks
