Well I was driving my car to work this morning, it was raining so I turned on my headlights. When I got into traffic I noticed that the reflection in the truck in front of me seemed to be short a light. I flipped the brights for a second and found my missing light. I went back to the low beams and it went out again.
When I got to work I tapped the housing and it wouldn't do anything. I'm hoping it is just a bulb instead of the wiring harness. I happened to have a new connector when the passenger side acted up several months ago, I used up my spare fixing it.
For anybody who's the least little bit interested, it was actually the bulb this time. Also the APC bulb that I found at Autozone is the same intensity / brightness as my NARVA fancy German bulbs that I had before. I did buy 2 just in case it wasn't, now I have spare.
My other choice was Sylvania Silverstars, although I can't speak for their automotive bulbs I know their household light bulbs suck terribly. I tend to shy away from them.
I really would have liked some of the PIAA bulbs that are supposed to be in the 5200k color range, no big suprise that you can't buy them locally.

The same thing happened to me Saturday. I have changed the headlights three times so I had a few spares. The Sylvania Silverstars are the one that burned out so I went back to plastic lenses and a HID bulb.
