Aftermarket Tacho hookup '87 ??
Where inside the car is the best (easiest) place to get a signal wire (the green one on most tachos) for the tacho?
What colour is the wire?
Am I correct in believing that I want the pink wire from the coil as the signal wire?

If you look on the driverside/bottom edge of the distributor cap there are two push on connectors.
The Pink wire is 12 volts (Battery)
The White wire is the Tach. Signal.
If you pull the dash cluster out there are two connectors on the right side of the cluster. One of them is a 32 pin connector.
(Two rows of 16 pins).
Looks like this.

Splice into the White wire, pin C5 for the Tach. Signal.
