85 vette mufflers
Hey guys, I'm kinda new to the stock corvette thing. I have never owned a stock one - only a twinturbo '87. My question is about KBD mufflers, I like the look but I have never heard what they sound like. My wife bought me a 2.5 in. dual system along with these mufflers. before I put them on I would like some experienced opinions. Thanks for taking the time to read.

last month when i got my 86 thery had those mufflers. they sound o.k. if you like kind of loud? some don't i do. but the guy i got my vette from did some curb jumping, replaced all the exhaust he wrecked, front and rear Y pipes and CAT, but these KBD mufflers were older and starting to rust so i picked up some pacesetters mufflers all in black since my vette is black. one thing i didn't like about them besides the age and rusting, was they kind of hang out from under the car to much, were as the stock and even my oace setters fit right under the and next to the spare tire and hidden, so alls you see is the tips.
if you like a little noise but still want the mufflers to look factory under the car these are not the ones to have. i think i still have a picture of the kbd on my car before i switched, and after mufflers? maybe? send me a e-mail and i'll send you a picture.
