tranny Q?

i was reading on the c4vettes site that at about 30mph the tcc can cause lugging and shuddering. does this mean that everything is working fine? can i keep it from doing this? why does it only happen in o/d

Because overdrive in the only gear with a high enough ratio to drop the engine rpms low enough to cause the lugging. Have your chip reprogrammed, to delay the lock up, or alter the transmission governor to delay the shift to OD. The EASY thing to do would be to leave the shifter in D or 3rd as the case may be in your car, until you speed up.

Also if you hit the brake pedal the TCC will unlock and then not lock up again till over ~45mph, with a stock chip.

But, as mentioned, just pulling the shifter down to "D" will solve the problem too.
