I see it now "Mo's sunday school of car tuning" ... HEH
I see Quiketz, and vettenut 94 hehe...

Quiketz, a couple observations...

I was running my BTM set at about 1.5- 2 even before the alky.. I agree drop it a bit at a time.

My tach bounces past 6K but remember as TJ suggested, the logging software typicaly only captures about ever .6 of a second depending how much stuff you are monitoring.

I would limit the timing to about 25 on the upper end.... as you trim back your fuel you willl start seeing knock. You may not be able to get it tack on, without programmng your chip since the advance is going to be a result of what the BTM is pulling... I find that my timing differs 3 degrees from what I have programed into it...

You need to be concerned if the knock s over 3 degrees... you should monitor the knock numbers in addition to the spark knock so you can see if the knock is dissapating or staying , it is also "normal" to see some knock between shifts...

You are a little fat... I'd shoot for 900 across the board on your o2's until you get a WB.

what ever you do... with your alky mix, I would keep it the same mix until you sort out your fuel / o2's... other wise you will drive yourself plumb crazy chasing the AFR... If you plan on 50/50 then that is where i would start...

I went kinda of the long route, i started with straight water then migrated to 60/40 then 50/50 and have stayed there...

hope this helps some...
