Thanks - I would still like to what pins on the connector reset the codes.
You can read the codes by shorting pins 4 and 12 but I am fairly positive you need a scann tool to clear the codes or disconnect t he bat. I know on both my Freescan software and TTS datmaster ther is a software selection for clear codes.

If the '94 ECM still uses an EPROM instead of flash RAM you can clear the codes by opening the connector in the Orn wire near the battery for a minute or two.
Hello, 94 corvettes left bowling green in two configurations:
1. OBD I diagnostics with an OBD I connector and
2. OBD I diagnostics with OBD II connector that has 16 pins. That is how mine is set up.
Which one do you have?
I can scan my car directly and there is a procedure to even delete historical trouble codes. This comes explained in the service manual but you have to first tell me what connector you have.

As far as I know, the 94 came in one configuration OBDII connector OBDI 1/2 ECM. In 94 they started the process of adding OBDII to the corvette but did not fully implement it until 96. The 94/95 cars have a single rear O2 sensor, some OBDII functions and codes but not all and the OBDII ALDL connector. All my documentation including, GM manuals, Charles Probts Corvette Fuel injection and several other books states the 94 has an OBDII connector, as well as every car I have seen. The way to pull codes is as I stated to short pins 4 and 12 on the ALDL. The only way I know to clear codes is through a scan device or disconnect the battery.
I can post what OBDII codes are available when I get home if anyone is interested.
