If you have an L98 it's pretty easy and a good time to do the TB coolant bypass mod.
Actually you can clean the TB bore and throttle plates with it installed onto the plenum. Be sure to use only TB cleaner though.
To clean the IAC just remove the connector and unscrew it from under the TB. Then use TB cleaner on cotton swabs to clean out the IAC bore; check with a mirror to verify no cotton strands got caught inside.
