I have one on one of my cars Robert
It will probably be coming off soon, as I am not that crazy about it - I think it is by Jaz...
On the C5 you put it inline of the PCV valve to catch any oil vapor. I have one ours, and thought about putting one on the GS.
What about putting between the passenger side valve cover and the TB? Would you need two then? one between the Passenger side valve cover and then another one before the PCV valve.
Sorry I dont know what this is,please post a picture.
I'll post a picture tonight, but you can do a search in the C5 sections and you will see what I'm talking about. Do a search for 'PCV Catch' or PCV filter.
Contact Greg @ blowerworks, he is a sponsor in the FI section...
He has a VERY nice Pcv valve and catch canthat actually works ( it is a CNC'd unit that can be pulled apart and cleaned and will go 100% closed) as well as a system to catch the oil it connects between the two valve covers and vents (on the supercharged cars) behind the airfilter. But could be easily adapted to fit in the original fitting on the throttle body. (It is moved on the supercharger cars to make sure it is always seeing vacuum.
I just bought one for my 96 LT1...
It is a very clean setup, and rests back towards the firewall.
