I am going to need a new top for my red '90. It has a tan top now but I think I will change it to black. From info I gathered from other post, I checked out Ebay and found some new tops in the $170-$240 range. Other than the material what are the differences in vinyl and canvas? I guess I can't tell whats on mine now. What was originally put on the car? The tops I looked at were made by "EZ ON AUTO TOP COMPANY". Anyone had any experience with this brand?

My 95 came with canvas, my 1964 Chevelle had vinyl. Canvas looks better, the only modern GM car I would put a vinyl convertable top on would be a GEO Metro VERT. However, I still would not drive it.
