Hi,
I'm jumping over from the C2 Forum to pick some brains on where and what should be beefed up on a 1988 Dana 44. I am building a C2 on a SRIII tube chassis. This uses the C4 rear suspension with coilovers and a C5 front suspension. Can someone recommend a source for high performance Dana side yokes/caps. Thanks
the Dana 44 is used widely in the offroad world, your best bet would be to check out some offroad forums
The C4 uses a special D44. It's called a super D44, it uses a D44 ring and a D60 pinion. So, I don't know if any of that off-road stuff will work on our Vettes, especially since we are running IRS.
Thanks for the input. It looks like DTS is a good source for the Dana 44 stuff. If ya come up with anything else feel free to post it. The supercharged 2002 Z06 LS6 will no doubt stess out the 7 year old rear. Just want to ensure it does not go out in a blaze of glory! Thanks again for the help
