We’re having an inventory reduction sell on the MBP Pedal mounts. I have 10 units that I will let go for $65.00 shipped. The sell will run till they are gone or until the end of the month which ever comes first. For details on the mount, check out our web page. http://www.r-dracing.com/MBP%20Pedal%20Mount.htm
This is a great part for anyone racing their Corvette. I had the stock OEM bracket break on me during a race. I ended up spinning out in a cloud of smoke. No warning, just broke off and left 1/2 on the pedal and 1/2 on the fire wall. The orignal also tends to get a lot of play in them after a short amount of time.

Yeah, a friend of mine here in Nashville broke his at a track event and had to make a hasty (relative term) repair with another GM since that was all that was available. I have my RD unit but have yet to get a chance to install it. Nice looking piece. I need to get on that project soon.
Just got off the phone with Dave and my pedal mount is on the way. Let's see, my Vette almost qualifies as a poster Vette for R&D Racing parts (cross-bar, camber-brace, fire extinguisher and now the pedal mount). Hey Dave, post a picture of that beautiful Z06 of yours.
Hi Dave, Got the pedal mount in and it does firm things up. My 92 plastic mount was in pretty good shape, but the mount you sell is much more substantial. Once installed, you can't see it and it doesn't make you faster, but it is one of those feel good mods in that you know you'll never have a problem there in the near future. Here is a drawing you can add to the instructions if you want. It helps explain how the retainer cable attaches.
I had a customer call from an event saturday that had just broke his mount and was 300 miles from home. The bad part was, he had purchased and received his MBP, but didn't take the time to install it and forgot to bring it with him. He never called back, so I'm not sure how it turned out. He may reply here after reading this.
Boy, THAT diagram would have been a big help... I fought with the cable on the pedal for probably 45 minutes - it was easily the hardest part of the install.
Turns out my stock mount was in one piece, but the pin had widened the holes in the mounting so the whole pedal wobbled. Now it's so much better, and I feel like I have more control over how much gas I'm giving it because the pedal only moves on one axis now .
I got mine too. Great looking product and a great price!!
Can't wait to get it in this weekend.
Hope you have smaller arms than I do. It's really an easy install, except for the top of the pedal assembly where you have to release the cable from the pedal arm. Don't break that cable retainer, it's plastic. It snaps out and in.
