Pre Cat question
One of the pre cats on my 86 is hosed, I was thinking of replacing the entire y-pipe with Mid Americas high performance y-pipe with no pre cats. Will this have any noticeable effect on either performance or on the emissions system.

Yes to both. If you have visual inspection, you will not pass it with the precats deleted.
However you should still pass the sniffer test with them deleted, the main cat does most of the work.
