T-5 is the Borg Warner 5 speed used on Camaro's and Trans-Am's. If the T-56 could be installed, I think that the T-5 will no have any problem. Just need to verify the shifter position in the console and the clutch pedal.
The clutch pedal is a part of the brake pedal assembly or is a separate pedal like in F bodies GM cars?
just remember,the T5 was NOT installed with 350cu F-bods because of the 350 having to much torque.Some guys I know have put then in their 350's and have run into problems.You are better off going with a richmond,ZF,or T56 which can handle the torque.
