I think I know what is it... but I need someone that explain me more technical than the Canton site.
For what I know it supplies additional oil when a pressure loss lower the psi to under a certain value checked by a valve.
But I see valve that open at 20 psi (when the oil pressure is under this value the accusump supplies oil)
But if Im at 6000 rpm and approching a turn I loose pressure under 20 psi, how much pressure is able the accusump to restore?
And 20 psi is not toooo low as a warning level?
Thanks.

24-271 E.P.C. valve kit for a discharge of 20-25 PSI
24-273 E.P.C. valve kit for a discharge of 35-40 PSI
24-275 E.P.C. valve kit for a discharge of 55-60 PSI
I went with the 35-40 PSI unit on my car. According to the site:
On initial start-up when the valve on the oil side is opened the pressurized oil is released into the engine and therefore pre-lubricating the engine prior to start-up.
The Accusump holds whatever oil pressure the engine has at the time that it is shut off.
After the engine is started and the oil pump has taken over, oil is pumped back into the Accusump.
This moves the piston back and pressurizes the Accusump until it equalizes with engine's oil pressure.
While driving, if the engine's oil pressure is interrupted for any reason, the Accusump releases its oil reserve again, keeping the engine lubricated until the engine's oil pressure comes back to normal.
This release of oil could last from 15 to 60 seconds, depending on the size and speed of the engine.
In racing or hard driving conditions, the Accusump will automatically fill and discharge when needed as you corner, accelerate and brake.
Thanks, I appreciate your explanation.
..Probably I need one..
How much for a complete system? where to see?
For now I will try with a different pan and a new oil pump.
I'm thinking of the 240T Canton pan and a SV oil pump.

Don't want to hijack the thread, but love my 92-where did you find room to mount the acusump on a C4. ANy pics. I am sure if Bepe decides to go this route it will help him also. Bepe I am running the Canton pan on my 88 383 track car and it really gets the job done.
I too have the 240T pan w/Melling 10552 pump and Mocal 25 row oil cooler.
I had mine mounted where the spare tire used to reside. You want to put the valve right next to the block though. I also use a check valve between the oil cooler and the valve. Here are some of the parts that I am using:
You will need a bunch of -10 AN fittings for this, plus a couple of 1/2" npt to -10 fittings. You won't know what you need until you figure out how you are going to hook up everything.
Mike, I really thank you...it's a very detailed list!
I hope that the Canton pan can help me on the loss pressure thing I'm experiencing with my new 383.

Thank you too!
HAve you, experienced pressure loss under high rpms?
The canton pan solved?
I had 2 accusumps on my L-98 race car. Before it became a serious race only car, I installed a 1 Qt. Accusump where the battery used to reside. I placed it there to minimize response time and pressure drop from Accusump to engine inlet. I moved the battery behind the passenger side of the rear cross member. Moving 45 lbs from the left front to the right rear helped tremendously with the corner weights. Good mod for any serious track car. Added second 3 Qt. Accusump in passenger seat area when fully converted to a race car. I tee'd two Accusumps together. NOTE: Be careful with Accusumps. When oil gets hot and oil pressure in engine drops from cold pressure, Accusump will pump oil back into pan, over filling pan. Been there done that. A second note. It is still possible to starve the engine of oil even with two Accusumps. I used to do it all the time coming over the top of the mini mountain (turn 6?) at Thunderhill.
