The best setup for a SR is a Fogger setup... One fogger in each runner; plates tend to starve the rear cylinders of fuel on the SR. Same goes for single nozzle systems.

I would not start out with a fogger system unless you know alot about Nitrous or you are a strip car only.
The Barry Grant system works for the every day driver.

Check out the NXL system by NX. It's a direct port setup that comes with a fuel rail that has integrated fittings for both fuel and nitrous. The nozzles go between the injector and the injector housing. I looks like a sweet setup, and would look good if your injectors are exposed.

Will NOT fit under a TPI or SR style manifold. Keep in mind that the fuel rails are underneath the runners bolted to the base manifold and there's very little room under there stock. Both the NX "Nxzle" and the NOS "NOSzle" are both .900" tall; almost an inch which would raise the fuel rail too high for you to bolt the plenum on... You could take an inch worth of aluminum stock and make yourself a spacer plate between the runners and plenum on a SR but that would be impractical in addition to lengthening the runner to that of a standard TPI. Won't work at all on a standard TPI due to the curved runners.

Back to my original post: Plate systems and single nozzle systems plumbed into a SR are sketchy at best because of the SR's plenum/runner layout. Both these type systems starve the rear cylinders which gives you an extreme lean situation and you know what that causes on nitrous. I know this because I've done it... You can stick an EGT in either #7 or #8 and try it yourself and you'll see the EGT's spike very high. For a SR motor the BEST solution if you want to run N2O is a direct port setup. Additionally they are NOT hard to setup or tune; more jets to change, true, but still simple. Follow the mfg's recs if you're inexperienced and you'll never have an issue.

JEB, Nuff said, don't have to add a thing.

Plates are NOT a good thing for SRs.

Well nevermind on the NXsle system, he has the same problem I do on my LT5. I would have probably gone with that system if it would fit, oh well...

JB is right though, regardless of your nitrous experience, if you can go direct port, do it. It is much safer for the motor, and the HP gains are much more profound than with a single nozzle.
