1996 LT4. Car came with Goodyear run-flat tires. Has Goodrich g-Force tires now and no sensors. Is there a simple and inexpensive way to turn the "SERVICE LTPWS" dash light off?

Thanks.
When I did the same thing on mine the light never went on and no problems. I would first see if a quick disconnect of the neg. batt. cable changes that, if not I know you can remove the bulb from the DIC, or remove the fuse. I'm not sure if there are any differences between a 90 and a 96 in the LTPWS. system aside from the sensors themselves.
The owner's manual says to take it to the dealer. My regular mechanic says the dealer will "burn and install a new chip". That sounds pricey. I have the car for sale and a warning light on the dash makes buyers skittish even when I explain. I am hunting for a cheap, simple fix.

I pulled the bulb in my 96LT4 as well - much cheaper than the $400 the dealer wanted to "deactivate" the system (which probably would have just meant pulling the bulb)!
or you could do what i did......put some electrical tape on the underside of the DIC cover, over the words "service ltpws" - from then on, when the bulb lights up you won't see it
