recently put on long tubes and had to remove the alternator and ac condensor out of the way. well a buddy put it back together while i was working on something else. anyways, when i turn on my ac i get a vibe inside the car b/t 2000 and 2400 rpm. well i discovered that he didnt put in a bracket that goes off the alternator bracket. two weeks later i am trying to figure it out and i am stuck. i also went to a local chevy dealer and got a diagram but it does not help in any way possible. if any one has anything to help or a link to check out i would appreciate it. besides i am in florida and it is quite warm here. ac rules!!!
The problem may be that you can not use that bracket. When I installed my EM's, the outside bracket could not be used due to the headers. This is common with headers. You could fab a bracket, and then let me know what you did so I could use it
I am not sure I understand your question and you do not tell us what year car you have. Your sig does not give us any info on your car either. Makes it sort of hard to diagnose but I'll take a shot at it.
I am assuming an L98 motor. There is a tubular brace that runs from the alternator to a stud on #1 cylinder . That stud is the inside location on #1. On an L98 there is a similar brace off of the ac condenser. Is this the brace you are talking about?
