Default Those with an Accel Intake Manifold Question

Guys what do you or did you do to plug the hole below the fuel rail bolts? It's the same size hole as the temp sensor but, didn't come with a plug of any kind. Any suggestions?? sure don't need it. Thanks-Doug

I took the intake to the local NAPA and found a bronze plug that fit.

Yep, that hole is for the '85-'88 cold start injector temp sensor; any plug with a little Permatex #2 on the theads should take care of the situation.

If you are using 89-92 runners and the gaskets for them, you don't need to do anything with that hole, it gets blocked off by the runners.

Morley- I'm talking about the hole on the front of the intake manifold just below where the 2 fuel rail bolts go. These are new to a 91 guy.

Indeed, the cold start injector required two extra holes; one in the front of the intake base for the timer the other in the middle of the lower left runner base for the injector.

I just got a junk temp sensor from someone and plugged the hole with that...

It's odd that the manifold (LPE one, made by Accel) has the temp sensor hole but NOT the 9th injector hole. At least mine was set up that way.
