C4 Problem
Hello everyone. I am having a problem with my C4. The car shuts off on me just about everytime I take a trip after I have cranked it. It usually happens @ really slow speeds (i.e when leaving a parking lot). The car recranks immediately after I put it in park and turn the key. It only happens once per trip. Once I get the car started after this has happened, it won't happen again until after I shut the car off again and crank it again like you would when stopping @ a convience store. Has anyone heard of anything like this or have any idea why this may be happening? Thanks.

I'm not sure I understand what you're describing. Are you saying after it starts, it will kill on its own at slow speeds, but just once? It will always restart, and after it's restarted it won't kill again? That's how I'm hearing it.

Will the engine die if you just let it sit and idle or only when in gear at low rpm?
If the latter, does it die if you just sit and let it idle or when you first hit the accelerator?
