I have been looking at installing the TPIS ZZ409 cam, it is not quite as aggressive as the LT4 Hotcam. Does anyone have either of these cams and have to pass emissions ????

Both cams should pass emissions, but may need some tuning. I would get some feedback on the ZZ9 cam as there are several who installed the hot cam and later wished they went bigger.

If that cam's less aggressive than the Hotcam, it's not worth the bother. The Hotcam has great driveability, mileage and response. And I've never heard of anyone having trouble passing a sniffer with it. If they did, they had other issues.

Yes I have to pass emissions. TPIS said the ZZ9 cam would pass but they weren't sure if the ZZ409 would, the specs are 226, 226, 520 and 520. How wild can you go when you have to worry about emissions ??
Question # 2 I am also looking for heads, Trick Flow has LT1 heads but cc is 62, would those drop my compression to low with just heads and a cam ?? They are $600 less than AFR's. It is an auto 93.
