Dose my 1990 stock air box (cut lid and k&N) have sufficient are flow to support my motor or is it restricting it. Dose anyone have dyno results or tests to prove the gains on aftermarket units

Aftermarket cold-air intakes will not show up on dyno results unless you just compare it to bone stock dynos (stock lid, paper filter), they need air forced into them at speed to show up.
However, the stock setup is limited in the cfm it can flow, so cutting the lid will help and K&Ns do flow more when dirty than paper.
