I have a 91 Auto Corvette. Lately, when the car idles or held at a constant speed, the car "shutters" every so often. Downloaded Datamaster and connected to computer, but not sure how to read the file. Thought it was the ignition module as the spark advance varies, replaced but no luck. Any help would be appreeciated.
have you replaced your injectors? Do you have a AFPR? The reason why I ask is becaues you are running pretty darn fat. Its pretty unusual to see a stock car do that so I assume that the car is modified.
The Rich AFR is likely causing your studdering. Its probally loading up every once in a while.
What injectors do you recommend, not trying to win any races just for an enjoyable ride.
I bought a set of the LS1 pulls from SLP for $99, they are bosch and rated at 25# @ 43psi.
Other than that, others here like the ford svo injectors (made by Bosch also) from Five-0-Motorsports.
What brand o2? Did you use a delco o2? Whats the fuel pressure like..
Alvin,
When I replaced all the parts I used Delco, except for the O2 sensor, they were out of stock so I purchased a Bosch. When I got home from work today, disconnected the O2 sensor and the car idled fine. So I guess I should have waited for the Delco to come in, only funny thing was that I was expecting the service engine light to come on, but it didn't, not sure why. I have a new O2 sensored ordered(Delco) will keep you posted.
