Default Injector question

I have a minor missing (bucking) problem at low throttle light load

Around 25 to 45 mph the car feels like it's missing. I've replaced eveything in the ignition system and it didn't cure the problem.

Anywho, someone on here suggested I check the Ohm's on the injectors (which are also new)

I did and the results are:

All injectors Ohm out at a solid 17 with one fluctuating between 14 and 15.

Can that one being a slight amount lower then the rest be causing my missing feeling.

I'm not sure if this slight differance in ohm's is serious enough to cause this problem and i don't want to just throw parts at it.

Thank you
Jesse

All injectors should ohm within 1 ohm of each other. You could replace it or send the set to rich at cruzinperformance for a cleaning and flow testing. About $100 and a 1 week turn around time.

Give Rich a call (link on my site) to verify with him and see what is his current turn around. I just got back my stock injectors and he was slammed for a while. BTW, current pricing is $12/injector.

If you have him service your injectors, send all 9 of them as he can serivce the cold start injector too. If you beak off any of the clips just leave the remaining ones on the injectors and he will replace any that are missing.

Appreciate the replies,

I've only had these injectors in the car for 2500 miles.
I am inclined to contact Accel and see if this is covered under warranty.

I don't feel it should be acting up after only 2500 miles.

Thanks, I didn't know if there was a X to X ohm range they had to be in before they are considered defective.

Still it wouldn't hurt to give Rich a call and ask him about it, he is very helpful and knows his stuff.

I contact Accel and explained my problem and the tech guy jumped right to his assumption I "installed them wrong" I told him they are installed correctly but he insisted I did "something" wrong and his injectors are not my problem.

Anywho, I then called Summit Racing which is where I ordered them from and they were very easy to deal with and he agreed I had a defective injector...He offered me a full refund upon returning them so I sent them back.

Case closed!

Any OTHER brand of injector that is reliable?

Accel Suck!

Thank you
Jesse
