Changing ring and pinion
How much trouble is it to change rear end gears on the Dana 36 rear end? Is it alot of trouble? I see the gear set from summit is like 300 something. Its definantly not something im going to do myself i would take it in to have it done, but how much different is it than lets say a rear end on a 96 Z28. I should mention i have 91 with 2.59 gears

You can R&R the diff and then have a gear shop set up the ring and pinion. It cannot be done with the diff in the car like with the Camaro.
I am assuming you will be changing to 3.07 or lower gears. In that case, get the gear set with the "thick" ring gear. Otherwise you will have to change the internal, diff case, also.
