My 95 has been having an intermittent problem with the service ASR light coming on. It comes an and stays on until I hit a bump. Then it will go off for a while or until the next bump. The connections under the hood at the ASR unit look good. I am not sure what else to look for. Is there a way to pull a code from the computer or find where the sensors are?
I am having the same problem with my 92' vette. Open the box behind the drivers seat and you will find a bunch wires for your ASR. Check all the connections. Also try using a contact enhancer such as "Stabilant 22". Good luck, I'm still working on mine.
I have a 94 w/auto and had the same problem with my Service ASR light. It would come on in a random manner. Then I noticed that my cruise control was in the on position, so I turned it off and haven't had the
Service ASR light come on since then. Might want to check your cruise control switch and turn if off if it's on. I do most of my driving in-town and don't use the cruise control. Cruise does work fine on the interstate
with no ASR light showing up. Guess ASR didn't like the cruise being on
and not being activated.
