guys I need pics. I am converting my car to a 6spd and looking for pics.
Interior: Shifter area, pedals (under dash)
Exterior: Master cylinder, clutch pressure line

secondly for the CAGS, where is it located on the transmission? Other than the speed sensor, what are the connections on the tranny?

Lastly, I still don't have a clutch. With a 224/230 cam ~450 rwhp, is a fidanza Al flywheel and a full disk organic clutch alright.
The car will be 95% street, 5% drag (slow shifting) and autocross/track car.

Thanks for any input

If it's a street car stick with the heavy flywheel. This cuts the noise factor down, and makes it much more pleasant to drive with that cam.

I just had the conversion done. I went with the mcleod street twin with aluminum flywheel. The driveability is not bad for an aluminum unit. Because it is still dual mass and the flywheel is not fully aluminum as the center is steel. My cam is much bigger than yours and I'm not having any driveability issues at all.

I got my tranny through F parts on ebay and it came with everything. pedals, shifter, clutch, flywheel, bellhousing, master, slave and hydraulics. However, the only thing that I used was the tranny, pedals, and bellhousing. Mcleod also offers a billet master cylinder and hydraulics setup and that's the unit I went with. Real good quality part and looks nice too.

I didn't use the CAGs so I didn't do anything about it.

I took everyone's advice and is running the BMW oil in the ZF. Everything is smooth, and the Mcleod grabs HARD! I wouldn't use anything else with your setup.

Check out the link in my sig. I did the conversion over this past winter. I took a lot of pics in the general areas you're inquiring about.

I too went with the McLeod ST with aluminum flywheel and if I had it to do all over, I'm not sure I would have done it. I mean it is great and knowing I probably can't hurt it is a plus, but I should have been more honest with myself... Why do I need a clutch capable of holding 1000+ HP when I only put 350 to the ground? The noise gets to me a little only because it makes the tranny sound like it's about to explode. I don't like having to explain to passengers that is how it is supposed to sound. It's easy to shift around so it's not audible and with a raised idle, I don't get the box-o-rocks sound at stop lights however.

Good luck, you'll love it!
