Driver's side power mirror stuck!

Driver's side power mirror stuck!
So I can move the driver's side power mirror left and right but not up and down. When I try to move it up and down, I just hear a click each time the switch is moved up and down. The passenger's side works 100%. What can be the problem?

There are two worm gear rods, one for up/down one for left/right attached to the back of the mirror, with mating drive gears in the mirror motor. It sounds like either the one of the drive components is worn.
Move the mirror to the full down position, put two fingers behind it and pry the mirror off the trunion that holds it to the motor so that you can inspect the drive mechanism.
If you need to remove the motor there are three screws through the motor body that hold it to the mounting bracket behind the motor.
