Default primary cooling fan?

which fan is the the primary cooling fan. driverside or passenger? which one comes on with the a/c?

If your "94" dual fans are the same as my "91", the driver side is the primary and the passenger side is the secondary which also, comes on with the AC.

very depenpant on year. on 1996, both fans always run.

Only when the AC is on. With the AC off, the stock PCM flash file is programmed to turn the primary fan on low speed by itself. As coolant temp continues to increase, the primary fan will switch to high speed and the secondary fan will switch on to low speed. At ~235*, the PCM will switch the secondary fan to high speed as well.

I have the specifics from my flash file at home.
