When trying to start my car. I turn the key and nothing happens. No sound no click. Nothing. If I push start the car. If I stop the motor and restart the car right away. The car starts fine. Leave it for a day and it might restart it might do nothing. When checking at the starter. When the Key is turned on as if to start the car. The test light goes on and off with the turning of the key. Tried jump starting the car. This has no effect.
Changed starters, Now it will click but not start and still no effect if hooked up to a jump/boost charger. It only clicks once and stops.
If it was the nuetral switch? Why would it start every time when warm and not cold? A little help here.
it sounds to me like the first thing that needs to be checked is your battery connections/cables. If they can't or are intermittently unable to carry the amperage that the starter requires then you'll get that clicking sound you are talking about. Those bolt-on battery terminals are bad about corroding and it can sometimes creep up the insulation and destroy the wire inside. Most of the time it's just dirty connections though. Good luck.

You've got some crappy connections somewhere between your battery and starter...
