Anyone using a Jacobs Nitrous Mastermind? If so, what ignition system are you using? Do you have a two-stage rev limiter set-up?

I use one with an MSD 6A. I don't use a two stage. I'm not sure if you are trying to stage on a limiter or what. Please be more specific. If you are just worried about overreving, don't be. The NM shut off the nitrous before it limits spark. It works regardless of whether or not you are using the bottle.

I want to launch on one rev limit, let mastermind do its thing with progressive addition of nitrous, and either the mastermind or the two-stage set a top-end rev limit for missed shifts.

I would think a rev limiter tied in with your trans brake or line lock(if auto) would do the trick as long as the 1st rev limit is below the point that the nitrous turns on. It seems to me that the NM would have to have the 2nd stage rev limiter. I don't have first hand experience with a two stage w/ the Mastermind. Get ahold of Jacobs electronics, I'm sure they'll have the answer. Good luck!!
