Does anyone make a roll bar like the one found on the newer mustang convertibles (single bar rubber covered)or can it be modified to fit a C4 convertible. I think Ive seen a pic on this forum with it in a C4 but can't remember who's got it
I think R-DRacing has a vert roll bar that that has four mounting points in the area behind the seats with a removable diagonal brace that goes to a fifth point in front of the passenger seat. Even with the diagonal brace removed, the 4 point roll bar is still better braced than a single roll bar mounted at 2 points.

Yep, Tom has one in his purple Vert from R-D Racing. I'll email him to post some pics.
This is called the "S/T Frame Support", you may call it whatever you want. It came from R-D racing who is a supporting member of this forum.
I took mine out and had it chrome plated on my own, I guess you could cover it in rubber or any other material you desire. Someone suggested I have mine covered in hand stiched swede material ??
Some pictures in, and out of the car. NOTE: the forward brace is removeable for normal driving, it bolts in. You cannot have a passenger with the forward brace in place.
I hope this helps, I love mine a great deal. Really stiffens the car up.
