Got that slip sliding feeling
1993 LT-1 Automatic. 136,000+ miles on it. I've had the car about 3-4 months.
When I punch it at about 50 the tranny seems to slip a bit before engaging but then I'm off like a rocket, any ideas?

check/change the fluid.
Also, adjust the TV cable.
TV cables are a bit more involved on your vintage... I don't remember off hand how to do it, but the Helm manual has the instructions. It does require a small torque wrench, tho.
