Default Simple plug wire question

I'm putting headers on my 94 and I'm going to change the plug wires at the same time.

With headers can I use all 90 degree boots instead of the stock type wire sets with six 90's and two 180's?

I did a search and couldn't find an answer.

Thanks.

Default Go with All 90's

I have found on my 94 with Hooker headers that only the 90's will minimize the "cooked boots". I hope your headers are coated...

I'm using MSD 8.5mm wires with my Exotic Muscle headers. All mind are 90 degree and I'm not having any problems with them. The only one that is difficult is #6 since you have to go between the headers and the dipstick.

Thanks all. I have the EM ceramic headers. Hopefully the rest of the pieces will come in this week so I can finally put the new exhaust on. I have the Corsa and the headers, waiting on the Random Tech cats.

Any preference on wires? I was thinking about the Moroso ones. They have all 90's and come with a new coil wire.

You bought the Taylor wires, right? Do they fit pretty well?

My mistake. I got you confused with another member with a similar sign on. Sorry.

I'm running Taylors with EM headers. With a little dremelling of the factory looms, they will fit perfectly. Also, I'm running straight boots on 6 and 8.

They fit pretty well? What I mean is are the wires cut to the right lengths so you don't have a lot of "slop" after you get them in.

Yes, you buy the set that is specific to the LT1, and no cutting required.
