Default New Spark Plug Gap?

Let's say I have a new Mallory 29212 coil and Mallory Pro Sidewinder 952 wires, what kind of plugs would anyone suggest using on a otherwise almost stock '85 L98, and what would I gap them too? thanks

I installed the new coil and noticed a lot better response in acceleration. Now I have another problem. The new wire look awesome but the old ones are really badly routed, it looks as if someone just threw them on there. There is a wire on each side that (don't laugh) makes a loop because there the wrong size. Does anyone have advice on how and where to run the new wires? I have 4 - 26" (one with a 45 degree boot, 2 - 36", 1 - 40", and 1 - 44". Where does the 45 boot go? and I always wondered: what is the purpose for the 45 boot when the rest are 90? any help would be great.

well, the coil and wires look great together, and I've noticed very clean response and acceleration. I'm looking at getting some nice plugs but I'd like to get some suggestions on good performance plugs that aren't overly expensive. thanks

the 45 boot is for cyl #6 on your '85. as for the lenghts, they are probably correct. if you use the GM recommended routing and retainers they'll fit fine.
