Fan Switch Trouble ???
87 Z52 purchased ecklers fan switch. it is supposed to turn fans on at 200 and off at 185. car has 180 thermostat. it turns on fans at 200 fine --no problem. then you rev up to 1200 rpm to cool it down and temperature goes to 180 or even 179 but fans will not turn off. it is absolutely the fan switch because you can walk over and pull wire off of the fan switch and fan stops immediately.
did you have this problem? any and all suggestion appreciated

I just got one from them today so I can tell you how it reacts on my 86 but I don't know if I will get below 180 in the AZ heat for awhile. Did you set it up to control both fans ? How much fluid did you loose when you installed it ??

Gotta be the switch. Your 180 t-stat probably isn't fully open at 180, and if that switch isn't accurate, it'll hardly ever shut off.
If you park and let the motor cool with key on, when does the fan cut off?
I'd recommend a fan switch override if you're looking for more power/consistency at the track.
