Well for openers I have a Mid America Motorworks catalog. And they list the ECM replacements for 84-93 for $99.95 There is a $150.00 core charge. Their ph. no. is 800-500-1500 Their web address is www.mamotorworks.com/corvette I purchased one about 2 years ago.
Also I beieve auto zone has them for about that price.
Could I ask what's wrong that you think you need one? The reason I ask is Im working on a 93 that reports 142deg coolant temp (or just lo) no matter if you jump the teminal or not.
It tells me it's 125 deg out, runs like crap and just has some quirky stuff going on. All the logic trees in the service manual point to a bad ecm. the thing is the problem was so intermittent until just yesterday.
My 92 won't communicate with my note book comp.& it quit turning on the main fan, which cks normal,(link fuse ,,relay ,wires & ground.)Logic tree points to ecm.I plan to send it off for $99.00 & get the R&R
program Offered by Mid- america. Takes 3 weeks. The best deal I found & it"s guaranteed for your life.
