Quick question about removing SES codes
I set the timing on my '89 last night and disconected the wire (can't remember what it's called right now) to by pass the computer's built in timing. Of course this triggers the SES light. My question is, is disconnecting the battery for 10 seconds the only way to re-set/remove codes from the information display? Doing this worked but of course I lost all mileage memory as well as radio presets. Thanks

I believe the computer fuse can be pulled to accomplish the same thing, but I've never gone that route.
