Oil pan torque spec's?
Oil pan studs - To crankcase at corners . . . 15 lbs. in. (2 Nm)
Oil pan studs - pan to case . . . 8 lbs. ft.
Oil pan attaching bolts . . . 16 lbs. ft.
(all of this is on the same page in the engine section - p. 6A1-28)
First question: Which do I go by to put my pan on?
Second ques: Is the first spec correct? My inch torque wrench's lowest setting is 25 lbs. in.(?)
BTW, I'm using the blue Felpro gasket that specifies that no sealant is to be used on it, if that changes any of the spec's (there's no torque spec's w/the gaskets)
And, to further twist things, the Haynes manual says:
Oil pan bolts/studs . . . 80 in-lb
" " nuts . . . 165 in-lb
In other words . . .

I can't verify your numbers because mine is an LT1, but the corner stud bolts get a different torque then the base pan bolts.
All I can say is that on the LT1 pan the numbers in the Helms manual are close to your numbers 20Nm and 11Nm respectively.

Doing the same thing this weekend and noticed that as well in the book yesterday.
