LT1 intake for my 84?
Will a modded LT1 intake (here @ www.lt1intake.com) fit on my 84 block with Dart IE heads? My second question... would this be a better option than say a victor EFI setup or should i just stick with the victor like i had originaly planned? I'm interrested in he 2500-6500 RPM range.
Thanks!

with your set up I think the crossfire could be ported and with a little tuning work well. I would not go the LT1 conversion rout for your situation as you will need to do quite a bit of wiring because you are not a TPI car.

That guys web site has a ton of info. Looks like a doable project if you have access to a good salvage yard. The mechanical part he pretty well explains. Its the new computer and cable plus all the stuff that is on engine that you would have to install that looks like would be the hard part. If you had a lot of time i'm sure you could do it. A good donar car sure would be a plus. Good luck and let us know if you try it.

What intake gasket do your heads use?
The LT1 intake swap works with heads that have 1205 size ports, but some guys have had trouble with 1206 sized ports...
Also, some heads have a larger water port that the LT1 intake won't completely cover. There is a list of known problem heads at lt1intake.com
