Hypertech pistons and powder rods ,not that strong of a combo even though some will disagree.
I have run a 125 shot of nitrous for about 2 years on them.
I think 4 lbs of boost would be ok ,but you would have to figure out the presure you are putting on the pistons and see if 125 shot would equal a 6 lb of boost.
You might have a problem with the trans and rearend if you put to much power to it.
They are indeed a strong piston, produced by MAhle. I ran 9 psi for a while on them but be warned, your tuning must be on the safe side or spot on. One mistake and those ringlands will be gone.

how do i make it on the safe side? pull timing? richen it up? i want to run the stock pulley which is 6-7 lbs from vortech
I'm with BTF.. Stock bottom end can handle a ton of power, if you tune it right. A few pings at 9lbs and you'll be picking up pieces. Back the timing, run alky injection, keep the AFR under 12.5 to be safe. Make sure you have a fuel pressure guage, a wide band would be wise as well.
