Default Injector question

I am going to try using Accel injectors in my car one more time after my recent trouble with them.....

Question is:

I believe my car came with 24lb from the factory and I'm wondering if I went with 26lb this time, if it would run correctly w/o any big problems.

I have a few mod's but nothing extensive... See my signature for a list of my mod's.
I don't think anything I've done justifies larger injectors but I dunno.

What do you all think?

Thanks
Jess

I'm not positive, but I think this year came with 22# injectors....

85's have 24# injectors at 38-39 psi. 26# would cause you to run rich, especially at the increased pressure. I had mine cleaned by Rich at Cruzin' Performance.

BTW, like the color

Mine are beyond cleaning.... They need replaced.

The pintle caps are falling off and they stick frequently after the car sat for 8 years. I was discussing this with somebody just the other day and he was saying if I cut the fuel pressure back to like 30 I should be able to run the 26's

I'm just going to find some new 24's and eliminate a possible problem later.

I would call Rich at (231) 796-5705 to discuss what you have then decide.
