All references to "side" when dealing with an engine component are made from the drivers seat. So the left is drivers side, right is passengers side.
With that said, left side? nothing. It's only the cables over there.
The right, now that's different. There are the coolant lines, which I would bypass... the PCV line and another vacuum source for the evaporative emissions.
Under the TB is a vacuum source for the EGR, I think.
the big nipple is a coolant inlet for the TB which then goes to the left side of the TB and into the intake manifold. i think the top nipple is for the PCV?
My 86's tb had 1 for the pvc - I didn't mean the nipple for the coolant.
If you look directly below the pcv nipple there should be a void for which the "other" vac line would go to, if there was a need for it on "our" 86's, my new 52 mm tb has both and I am going to cap the lower.
86MK- on your drivers side valve cover where the pcv hose goes to a tube - at the front of that tube is there a nipple with a hose on it? mine has the nipple and nothing else.
