Default ignition systems for NOS?

i saw some other posts about this same issue (hi RJ!), but didn't want to hijack their threads...
i need to upgrade my ignition system too, and have been thinking about some of the same questions. some have recommended that i may just want to use a delteq and the stock computer and have 2 different tunes depending on whether or not i am using the NOS. the guys at my local shop said that they don't know if the delteq coils can handle the high cylinder pressures that will come with my 11.5:1 compression plus a 300shot of NOS. so, i don't know if this is a good option... ?? i think there is another system that uses the LS1 coils? would this be any better?

i am interested in a stand alone system, but am worried about the cost, and maybe potential problems with the stock gauges, etc... but i don't know enough about these to really know if they are a better option or not... and how they work with an opti. can anybody educate me?

any input would be greatly appreciated!!
thanks!

I would just stick with the stock Ignition and use the MSD 6 AL box.
That is what I use.
I would gap the plugs to 25 ths to compensate for the higher cyl presure.
