Default Valve Cover question

I decided that I'm not going to cut on my originals on the new set-up.
Currently I'm trying to get all the rest of odds and ends before I tear it down.
I can't remember which covers through superior clear 1:6 rockers and still clear w.motor etc. I was looking at the pro-forms I just don't see an oilfill on them (from the pic. and don't know if they clear either) I want them in a blk. finish. (p.coat, anodized or paint) I seem to remember a few members here using these and they looked great.
Car is a 90, L98, center bolt, will be used w/1:6 rockers and SR intake.
TIA Mick

I'm not sure about aftermarket covers but you might pick up a set of used covers from Contemporary Corvette, link on my site.

Reducing the drip tab height and narrowing the bolt towers will get them to fit over ProMagnum RRs.

Proform has a mid height. I do not have an oil fill - I just pull the pcv.

I had Superior powdercoat them. They originally came unpainted, I can look up the part # if needed.

65z01, Thanks !Contemporary cor. looks like a good resource. I just prefer going w/aftermarket at this point, one less thing to do, also I want to just store everything that was original to the car.

85vet, I was looking at pn 12497979, Do you know about this one ?There was another, but couldn't get the server to pull it up this morn.
Yes if you have the pn. that would be good.

the 12497979 is only a 1/4 inch taller. You would still have to do some trimming for larger roller rockers.

I couldn't find the bill for the part #, I will see if I have the box they came in.

I went to superior's site and could not get specific info either, the server did not want to work.

I’m running the GMPP crinkle black center bolts over my CC Pro Magnums. I pitched the GMPP PVC and breather baffles and rubber grommets (they have screws to they are easy to remove) and replaced them with Moroso baffled grommets because the GMPP baffles interfered.

There is a oil filler on the right side.

They look sweet and have sealed nicely now since Christmas. Zero interference with this set-up.

BTW, I bought them from Chris at Superior.

HTH,

Chris

Grace 91, That was my original plan, or the plain alum. ones and powder coat black as I want to P.coat intake parts also. Any chance you have a PN. ,or are we talking the same cover that I mentioned above?

The part number for the black covers is 12497979.

The Part nember for the center bolts you will need is 12497980 and the part number for the gaskets is 10046089.

Here'a picture of the black GMPP/Proform covers on my 91. They fit over the 1.6 CC Pro Magnum rockers without modification. No interference with wiper motor or any accessories. I did crimp the baffles slightly with a pair of pliers, but I'm not sure if it was really needed. Fitment is tight with larger runners (I have AS&M), but they can be shoehorned into place.

That's them! Actually, when I was asking the same questions last year TA was the guy who tipped me off to this solution.

I painted the runners and plenum with some type of crinkle-coat that came in a can. I actually can't recall the manufacturer, but it was something readily available at Home Depot/Lowes ect. Thanks for the props on the ET.
