4l60e valve body problem
I trashed the valve body in my 4l60e a month ago (must have gotten some dirt in there when I replaced the pressure manifold {sigh}, ) So, a local transmission shop sold me a used valve body for $160, I figured "what a deal!" - yeah, right.
Anyway, the 1-2 accumulator valve sleeve had been broken off inside the valve body, some schmuck with too much muscle and not enough brains to feel the thing sticking it looks like. There is no way to leverage the thing out from behind, so I'm guessing my only option is to take it to a machine shop and get it bored out, huh?
Anyone have an extra 4l60e valve body laying around? :o
