Targa Top Question???
The 1986 model year had an early and late version concerning the Targa Top. Question: is the late year 86 top the same as the 87 - 96 year models? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me on this.

late 86 is the second design top,it was used from late 86 to 88 only.then there is a third design from 89 on up.only a top from a late 86 to 88 car will bolt on to your car.you can change the mounting brackets on your car to whatever year design you want to put on,of course that is some more expence and then your original top would not work.go to ...www.ecklers.com ang look up part#34258,there is a pic of the different mount designs.
